Cafe
Sammy Piccolo has decided to get behind the coffee bar again, this time as the owner of Prado Café on Vancouver’s Commercial Drive. He made the announcement via twitter back in December.
Hey Twitter world I am proud to announce that I have purchased the cafe I always wanted to own! As of Dec 29th I am taking over Prado Cafe

Sammy is a force of nature in the coffee service world. He has the distinction of being the only barista in history to place in the top three at the World Barista Championships for three consecutive years.
Outfitted with a Mirage Baston espresso machinee and Compak K10 grinders, Prado Café brings you the exquisite flavours of custom roasted and ethically traded coffee from Vancouver’s 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters.
Prado Café will still offer some of the favourites patrons have come to enjoy, along with many new indulgences. Yes, the rumour is true – Sammy is does have the best baked goods in town.
And don’t worry – the white walls are staying.
